John Moscoso, PGA

A proud South Florida resident since 1980 and a Class A PGA Professional since 2006, John Moscoso has built a distinguished career rooted in service, player development, and community impact. His professional journey includes roles at premier clubs such as La Gorce Country Club and the Biltmore Golf Club, but his true calling lies in youth development through the game of golf.

John made a lasting mark during his tenure at The First Tee of Miami, where he led a youth program that impacted over 2,500 young athletes annually. His commitment to service extended beyond junior golf, through partnerships with PGA HOPE, supporting local military veterans, and over a decade-long involvement with the Special Olympics of South Florida, coordinating inclusive programs for more than 1,000 athletes annually.

Currently, John serves as the Director of Instruction at Trump Golf Academy at Trump National Doral, where he leads a values-driven, high-performance player development model. He is also the Tournament Director for the U.S. Kids Golf Miami Tour, overseeing 20+ tournaments per year, and positively influencing the competitive journey of over 1,000 junior golfers annually.

In addition to his roles at Doral, John owns and operates the Golf Academy of South Florida, with two active locations at Miami Springs Golf Club and Granada Golf Course, where he continues to mentor aspiring golfers and develop a new generation of athletes through purpose-driven coaching.
