Kathryn Simerly
While growing up in Holmes, New York, Kathryn's father introduced her to the game of golf when she was 8 years old, teeing off a passion that continues today. She earned a collegiate scholarship to the University of Memphis to play Division 1 golf, and during her senior year the team won their Conference Championship. After college, Kathryn played professionally on the Suncoast Ladies Tour and the Futures Tour for two seasons, until she found a calling to teach and began developing and fine-tuning her skills as an instructor. Prior to first working with Patrick at the Broad Run Learning Center in 2019, Kathryn grew as an instructor and golfer throughout the United States, from Massachusetts to Washington to Florida, and eventually landing in Virginia. She is a huge part of the PMC Golf Academy team at Stonewall Golf Club, bringing her expertise and love of the game to camps, group classes, junior academy classes, and private lessons.
