Kent D. Tarkleson, PGA

Kent Tarkleson is an “Instruction Certified” PGA Professional with 44 years of teaching experience. He was selected as the NENYPGA Teacher of the Year in 2011. He is certified in Golf Biomechanics by K-Motion as well as a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Instructor, Class “A” Clubmaker and Certified Master Club Fitter. He is a past President of the Northeastern New York PGA and in 2000 was honored as their Golf Professional of the Year. In 2007 Kent received Ferris State University’s “Bill Strausbaugh Award,” presented for his “Outstanding Contributions to the Advancement of Teaching.”
