Player Development ProfessionalGolf should feel understandable, enjoyable, and rewarding for every player. My goal as a coach is to simplify the game by building strong fundamentals, creating clear improvement plans, and helping golfers develop confidence in their own swing. Improvement happens when players understand how their body moves, why the golf ball reacts the way it does, and how small changes create lasting results.
Inspired by my father and exceptional mentors, I developed my competitive foundation at St. Marks High School and continued my playing career at Goldey Beacom College. Since 2013, I have dedicated my career to helping golfers of all ages and skill levels improve while enjoying the game.
My teaching journey began at White Clay Creek Country Club, and in 2022 I earned full membership into the Professional Golfers Association of America. I am a PGA Modern Coach and ADM Certified Coach, specializing in long term player development and creating structured, engaging learning environments designed for lasting improvement.
Today, I lead player development and teaching operations at Hartefeld National in Avondale, Pennsylvania, a Tom Fazio designed facility built for golfers who truly love the game.
I truly adore working with kids of all ages and believe junior golf should be fun, encouraging, and confidence building. Helping young players develop skills, sportsmanship, and a lifelong connection to golf is one of the most rewarding parts of my career.
My coaching philosophy is simple: every golfer is different, so every lesson should be too. There is no one size fits all swing. I combine fundamentals, modern technology, and clear communication so students understand why changes work, not just what to do.
If asked about the most important fundamental in the golf swing, I always start with posture. Proper posture is the foundation of consistency because it directly impacts balance, movement, and control of the golf ball. When posture improves, the swing becomes more repeatable and confidence follows.
