Matt is a Certified PGA Professional in Teaching & Coaching, Player Development, Golf Operations and General Management, he has been the Head Golf Professional at Meadow Links since 2005. As a PGA professional, Matt tries to make sure his students build a solid framework of the fundamentals while practicing and playing. Realizing that each student is different and unique, he tries to help each student meet and achieve their individual goals. Matt has worked with a variety of players ranging in skill and knowledge of the game, but truly enjoys his work with junior golfers. Matt is also the Head Women’s Golf Coach at Sycamore High School. Leading the team to three consecutive Conference Championships in 2022, 2023, 2024 and an individual State Champion, Matt has also earned Great Miami Conference Coach of the Year 2022-2024. For his work to grow the game for many demographics of golfers Matt has been recognized by the Southern Ohio PGA as the Player Development Award winner 2011, 2016, 2019, Youth Player Development Award 2009, 2017, 2022 and Patriot Award for work with Military Veterans in 2022. Matt was recognized as the Southern Ohio PGA Golf Professional of the Year in 2023. Matt has also been recognized as a Golf Range of America Top 100 Growth of the Game Teaching Professional in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023.
