In 2005 Neal had a vision for a golf performance facility that coached players of all ages to understand how their body affects their golf swing. Neal achieved his Master’s Degree from the University of Akron in Exercise Physiology in 2007, while also becoming a Level II Medical and Fitness Certified professional through the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). In 2009 Golf Fitness Plus was established.

In partnership with TPI and Life Fitness, Neal won the 2012 Chance at the Best Program, which established Northeast Ohio’s premier golf performance facility. This 2,000 sq ft private studio hosted the best players in the world during their stay in Akron for the Bridgestone Invitational including Zach Johnson, Jason Day, Charl Schwartzel, Luke Donald, and Tommy Fleetwood. Neal has presented at the 2016 World Golf Fitness Summit, 2019 and 2021 PGA Show, as well as numerous seminars in the Northern Ohio PGA section. He is a Level I PGA Associate and has been recognized as a Golf Digest Best Golf Fitness Trainer in 2019, 2001, 2023 and 2025.
