Born and Raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Alex began his career as an as an Assistant/First Assistant Professional at Diamond Run Golf Club through 2021. Once elected into the PGA he took the head professional job at Treesdale Golf & Country Club and the following year, began a new career path as a full time instructor & Player Development Professional at Diamond Run Golf Club.

This past year he launched Sewickley Golf Academy, where he is the owner and lead instructor. "SGA" is partnered with elite custom fitness and their trainers in understanding how the body functions and can be improved, specific to the golf swing. Alex teaches full time, and specializes in developing athletes as golfers, and educating about the swing and the mechanics linked to the mind-body connection.

Outside of golf Alex enjoys spending time with his wife Casandra and his Son Austin, and playing golf together as family.
