Currently, Al is teaching at Rancho Carlsbad Golf, a great little executive course with one of the best driving ranges in north county San Diego. He coaches both the boys and girls golf teams at San Dieguito Academey High School from 2011 to the present, where the team and or individual players have qualified for the CIF Championship Tournament every year. Some former SDA team members have gone on to play college golf up to the D1 level. He has coached beginners to aspiring professionals, and from juniors to seniors.
