Benjamin Deering
Teaching ProfessionalMy name is Benjamin Deering, a Class A PGA member as of 2017. I graduated from the Professional Golf Management program at New Mexico State University in 2016. In addition, I earned me a Bachelors Degree in Marketing.
As a PGA Hope Certified Instructor, I work with veterans from all backgrounds and abilities. I coach students how to work around any existing limitations they may have. Together we improve their golf swing, knowledge and fundamentals.
My goal is to help others however I can and bring a smile to whomever I meet. Honor the golden rule. You never know what someone else is going through or thinking.
Throughout my professional career I have discovered that teaching is my passion. I enjoy working with people of all ages and abilities to build a better golf game.
Instruction is influenced by our goals, golfing acumen, physical abilities and any existing limitations. Utilizing individual experiences and learning styles helps tailor specific coaching needs for each student. My approach takes what each individual student does well and expounds up that to improve their skill set.
Golf is a game that is to be enjoyed for a lifetime. Anyone can play at anytime. Everyone begins at the starting line and progresses at their own pace. Learning to hit the ball, what club to use, and implementing course strategy are part of the fundamental aspects of golf.
