
Bill. Balash, PGA
Bill is a 34 year member of the PGA of America with over 48 years of experience in the golf business. Born and raised in the Pittsburgh area, Bill is a graduate of Washington & Jefferson College and currently resides in Hobe Sound, FL.
A golfer since the age of six, Bill never imagined his passion for the game would result in a career filled with the magic, wonder and mystic this great game has to offer. He has served those who enjoy golf recreationally as a caddie, Assistant Professional, Director of Instruction, Assistant Superintendent and Junior Golf Coach and those pursuing golf as a career as a PGA Education Faculty member.
Bill has been recognized for his growth of the game efforts by being awarded 1991 SE Chapter South Florida PGA Teacher of the Year, as well as, being named to the PGA President’s Council on Growing the Game. He continues to serve the growth of the game by participating in Women’s Golf Day events and Drive, Chip and Putt qualifiers and most recently PGA Hope.
