B.J. McCranie is a Class-A PGA member and has been in the golf business for over 14 years. He previously served as Head Golf Professional at Idle Hour Club in Macon, GA and Big Canoe in Jasper, GA. He was instrumental in the success of the nationally recognized Blum Golf Learning Center at Idle Hour Club as well as strengthening the instruction program at Big Canoe, teaching all ages and skill levels. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia earning a Bachelor’s in Science and Education, with a major in Recreation and Leisure Studies. He has been recognized by his peers throughout his young career by being awarded 2012 PGA Central Chapter Assistant Golf Professional of the Year and 2016 PGA Central Chapter Head Golf Professional of the Year. He has a passion for growing the game of golf and helping players have more fun through instruction. B.J. has an approachable and genuinely caring personality and he looks forward to getting to know you and helping you exceed your goals!
