I grew up playing many different sports including golf as a child. When I finished my college baseball career and was told I wouldn't be making a living playing it, I began to devote my time to golf in a serious manner. After a handful of years I realized I needed to start a career in golf because I had grown to love the game so much. I moved to Indianapolis and took several positions as an assistant professional before moving up to become a Head Golf Professional. There was a brief stint in there playing for a living on a couple of minor tours in Florida as well. Eventually I decided that my real passion came from helping others to learn the game and to understand it at a deeper level. I was lucky enough to get an offer to join the team at Golf School of Indiana in 2021 and can't imagine a better place to help students get better at this wonderful game.
At GSI we give lessons at several courses scattered around the city of Indianapolis including at Prairie View Golf Club, Hickory Stick Golf Club, Woodwind Golf Club, and the Birck Boilermaker Complex at Purdue University. I take students of all ages and skill levels and would love to hear from you regarding your game, your goals in golf, and to figure out if we would make a good team to get you where you want to be.
