Took up the game seriously after college. Started as a bogey golfer and worked hard every year to improve, Turned pro in '96 and have given lessons ever since. Teach all ages and abilities from beginners to PGA Tour winners, club champions, NBA coaches/players, and I love working with avid golfers who enjoy the game!
Played a few years in mini tour events and have had top finishes in local PGA events highlighted by a career best 67 at Eugene Country Club. Peaked as a player in 2010 with a +4 handicap, shooting career best 63.
I believe in using technology to get better but try to use it sparingly so as to not overwhelm the student with too much information. Owner of 2 Flightscopes, Hackmotion 3D, Blastmotion, Superspeed Trainer, DST, and slow motion video cameras. Trained in understanding kinematics and kinetics.
The best way to improve is to focus on one simple concept at a time!
