CJ grew up in Terra Linda and lived there until he was 20. During that time, his dad was the Head Golf Professional at the Meadow Club in Fairfax. CJ started working for his Dad when he was 14 in an outside service position where he cleaned member’s clubs, washed carts, and picked the driving range. That’s really where his love for the game of golf started. He played in many JGANC events locally as a junior golfer and qualified for Junior World in San Diego as a 16-year-old. CJ started his professional golf career as an Assistant Golf Professional at Contra Costa CC as a 22-year-old. He went through the PGA PGM program while he worked there and became a PGA member in 2014. Since then, he’s worked at Round Hill Country Club and most recently at Diablo Country Club as the Head Golf Professional for 5 1/2 years. When he is not golfing, CJ loves spending time with his wife, McKenzie and his daughters, Madison and Claire.
