Howdy, my name is Cole Simpson and I am a Class A PGA member born in Houston, TX. I graduated from New Mexico State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and focus in PGA golf management. I grew up playing golf tournaments in the Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Galveston and College Station Areas as well as AJGA events both with success and failure. During high school, I won a state individual championship TCAL 6A region for School of the Woods High School and finished top 10 Junior year in TAPPS 6A individually for ST PIUS X High School. After high school, I pursued the PGA golf management program at New Mexico State, which gave me the opportunity to work at numerous 5-star golf facilities in the United States. I got to converse and learn from many PGA instructors at those facilities. My teaching philosophy was introduced from the First Tee of Greater Houston. I volunteered and assisted with junior golf camps bringing out character values and relating them to golf. 2022 was when I began accelerating towards a teaching platform and giving one on one private lessons through the facilities I worked at. Recently, I have moved back to Texas taking a player development coach position at Magnolia Creek golf links. My goal is to bring joy and simplicity to the beautiful but difficult game we call golf.
