Originally from the “St. Andrews of Ireland”, Lahinch, Denise is a dynamic player and has a keen eye for the golf swing. After graduating from Stirling University in Scotland on a Golf Scholarship with a BA in Economics and Sports Studies, Denise spent three years as an assistant golf professional with the Pebble Beach Resorts and was mentored by top 100 Instructor Laird Small. Denise has successfully been able to combine two of her greatest passions teaching the game and learning new cultures which has allowed her to work globally at some of the finest private clubs, high end resorts, golf academies and for luxury cruise lines throughout the world. She has upwards of 20 years teaching experience spanning the Globe from the USA. China, Hong Kong, Hawaii and Nepal Offering a number of highly valued skills in the following areas: expertise in Elite performance coaching, Introduction to golf programmes for both men and women, Junior golf development, anticipates the needs of her students and strives to make sure her students have the most enjoyable and productive learning experience, places a high value on customer service and attention to detail. Denise strives to stay up to date and continues to learn the latest technologies and theories about the game from her extensive experience working for some of the most successful golf centres and academies in the US, as well she takes a wholistic approach to her teaching philosophy which encompasses the technical, physical and psychological components of the game.
