Eric F. Steele, PGA
Golf InstructorGolf has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I first picked up a club at the age of five when my grandfather introduced me to the game. What started as time spent together quickly turned into a lifelong passion that has shaped both my career and my purpose.
Over the past 22 years in the golf industry, I’ve had the opportunity to serve the game in a variety of roles including Teaching Professional, Director of Operations, and Head Golf Professional. These experiences have allowed me to work with golfers of all skill levels while also gaining a deep understanding of the game, the business of golf, and how to create great experiences for players.
I earned my Marketing degree from Ferris State University, where I further developed my understanding of communication, business strategy, and relationship building—skills that continue to help me connect with students and grow the game.
I grew up in Rochester, Michigan, and throughout my career I also spent time working in New York and Atlanta. Those experiences broadened my perspective on teaching and the golf industry, but ultimately my passion brought me back home. Being back in my hometown gives me the opportunity to give back to the community that helped shape me, and to help more people discover and enjoy the game of golf.
Today, in addition to coaching, I also run an insurance agency focused on protecting families and their futures. That work has reinforced a core belief I bring to my coaching as well: relationships matter, trust matters, and helping people feel confident in what they’re doing is incredibly important. Whether it’s protecting someone’s family or helping them improve their golf game, my goal is always to provide guidance, clarity, and support.
As a coach, I’m passionate about helping golfers build confidence, simplify the game, and enjoy the process of improvement. My approach focuses on fundamentals, understanding each player’s unique swing, and creating a clear path to better performance.
Most importantly, I want every student to experience the same joy and love for the game that started for me as a five-year-old on the golf course with my grandfather.
Helping players achieve their goals.
