Gabe Carr-HarrisLead Assistant Professional
Growing up in New York, Gabe always loved sports and being outdoors. He was particularly into hockey and golf as a junior. His first taste of the golf business was in high school working at Mt.Kisco CC in the mid 90’s. From there he joined the high school golf team, eventually attended Arizona State University and enrolled in the Professional Golf Management program.
Since attending ASU, Gabe has been lucky to work at some amazing places in his golf career and learn from some of the best people in and out of our business. In his career he has worked at Paramount Country Club, Stonington Country Club, Greenwich Country Club, The Jim McLean Golf School, Sleepy Hollow Country Club and most recently The Golf Performance Center.
Gabe is a big fan of continuing education and has spent extra time studying lots of golf pillars. He has twice been selected as a Gene Borek Squire Cup member, a team composed of top Assistant Professionals versus top Head Professionals in the MET Section. He is also the 2017 Winner of the MET Section Ely Callaway Award, given to the Golf Professional in the section for his dedication to education, service, and involvement. He is certified by some of the greats to help add value to his students, such as Trackman, GC Quad, and Jim McLean Certified.
Away from golf, Gabe lives with his wife Arley in Wilton, CT. They are blessed with two beautiful boys Colton & Emmett who also love to be outside! Family time, Rangers hockey and reading are Gabe’s favorite things to partake in.
