Paul Nagi
Paul Nagi is a PGA Professional, coach, author, and innovator with more than 20 years of coaching experience working with golfers of all ages and abilities—from beginners as young as 3 years old to players competing at the collegiate and professional levels. His movement-based teaching philosophy focuses on helping golfers unlock speed, power, and consistency by understanding how the body actually works within the golf swing. Paul is also the author of Movement for the Modern Golf Swing, a modern instructional framework built around athletic movement, ground forces, sequencing, and practical training systems designed to help golfers move more efficiently and play better golf.
In 2013, Paul created The Pill, an award-winning training aid recognized by Golf Digest, Golf Magazine, and MyGolfSpy at the PGA Merchandise Show. Originally designed to help beginners improve their short game, The Pill evolved into a trusted training tool used by coaches and players to develop movement awareness, face control, and feel around the greens. Throughout his coaching career, Paul has helped two PGA Tour players return to the winner’s circle, guided junior golfers into collegiate golf, and worked with adaptive golfers—including blind players and individuals with MS—to help them improve performance and enjoyment of the game.
Paul is also a certified TrackMan and SAM PuttLab instructor, master club fitter, and equipment consultant with expertise in wedge, putter, and shaft fitting. He believes strongly in unbiased equipment fitting and has consulted on club designs currently on the market today. Beyond coaching, Paul is passionate about growing the game through mentorship and education. He founded The Sharpstown Project, a Golf Channel-recognized initiative designed to introduce golf and golf-industry opportunities to public school students.
Coach Paul believes that golf is transformative and that every golfer can improve—as long as they maintain a willingness to learn and a good sense of humor about themselves.
