
Heeil Yang, PGA
PGA InstructorHeeil Yang brings over a decade of teaching and competitive golf experience to players of all skill levels. Originally playing junior golf in both Australia and Orlando, Florida, Heeil continued his development at the Professional Golfers Career College before competing on mini tours throughout Florida and South Korea.
He is a member of both the PGA of America and the Korea Professional Golfers’ Association, combining international playing experience with a passion for teaching and player development.
Currently teaching and competing locally, Heeil works with golfers of all ages and abilities, from beginners to competitive players. His instruction focuses on building strong fundamentals, confidence, and consistency while helping each player develop a swing that works best for them.
Heeil’s competitive accomplishments include winning the 2023 Midwest PGA Stableford Championship and the 2026 Lake Quivira Pro Open. In 2025, he was also recognized as the Midwest Assistant Player of the Year, highlighting both his dedication to the game and his continued success in competition.
He also travels several times each year to assist his sister, Amy Yang, winner of the LPGA 2024 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, with instruction and tournament preparation while continuing to grow the game through teaching and competition.
