Jason Young, PGA

Jason Young is in his 18th year as the Head PGA Golf Professional at Red Rock and has over 25 years of golf instruction experience since turning professional in 1993. He is a native of Pierre, SD and started playing golf at the age of four. Since 2003, seven times, his junior programs have been awarded the SDGA Amundson Family #1 Junior Program of the Year in South Dakota. Not only are these awards a testament to Jason's passion but also illustrates his commitment to providing quality instruction to those of all ages. Currently he works with students as young as 3 and as old as 90 years of age. While offering unique and valuable instruction, Jason is able to tailor his instruction to compliment your ability and learning style. Jason is able to communicate effectively with every level of player to achieve positive changes in your golf game. Jason is a 25 year member of the PGA of America.

Our course was also ranked in the Top 200 Residential Golf Courses in the US for 2019 by GolfWeek, and voted 2019 and 2020 #1 Best Golf Course in the Black Hills by local residents. Routed through the Black Hills terrain and located within minutes of Rapid City, the Red Rock golf course features lush fairways, surrounded by native grasses and tall ponderosa pine trees. Dramatic elevation changes, links-style bunkers and USGA specification greens characterize the 7,000-yd, par-72 championship golf course. The Golf Club at Red Rock has been designed to provide an exceptional Black Hills golf experience to both casual golfers and the more demanding players.
