Jeff Moore, PGA
Director of Golf
Jeff arrived at Finkbine Golf Course as Director of Golf in 2010 after spending 18 years at St. Andrews Golf Club in Overland Park, KS. Moore has been around the game of golf most of his life, and has been a PGA member for 30 years. He got his start like most do in the golf industry by working the carts and driving range at his local course in high school and continued working in the golf industry in college. After graduating from the University of Missouri in 1990 and trying his hand at sports broadcasting, Moore returned to the golf industry. Moore enjoys growing the game of golf through lesson programs, and promoting the game as a fun, friendly, relaxed activity that can be enjoyed by all.

Named after W.O. Finkbine, who donated the land to the University of Iowa in 1953, this scenic 18-hole golf course and driving range spreads out over 200 acres of rolling Iowa terrain and open to the public. Finkbine Golf Course is owned by the University of Iowa’s Athletic Department and is home to the University of Iowa Men’s and Women’s collegiate golf teams. Finkbine is known for hosting annual Iowa Golf Association Championships, charity and business golf events, and university golf leagues. Finkbine Golf Course is managed and operated by Troon Golf, LLC.
