Jesus Martinez, PGA
Golf Instructormember

Attended Arizona State University Professional Golf Management and became a PGA Professional in 2007. Worked at PGA Tour Superstore as a Golf Instructor and gave over 1200 golf lessons in calendar year 2008. For the past 19 years, I have been giving golf lessons to players of all skill levels, from beginners to elite players.
My Teaching Philosophy: To give each student better understandings of their golf swing and teach them how to make a more routine and consistent golf swing. I truly believe that each individual student has their own unique swing. The core to my teaching is the basics: the grip, alignment, swing path, and the club face at impact. I keep a positive attitude to help motivate my students reach their maximum potential. As a teacher it is important I give the student the knowledge necessary to diagnosis what is happening, this is where I use the ball flight laws to give the student the key to understanding their swing. I am also a firm believer in “Stop Thinking”. I believe that we train our muscle memory to make a swing motion, but when we execute it, it should require no thought. Keeping each student goals in mind, I will work with them in achieving those goals!
Helping players achieve their goals.

Palmbrook Country Club
Sun City AZ
The Championship Golf Course at Palmbrook Country Club has a reputation for being immaculately well kept. Playing back as far as 6,853 yards from the tips, Palmbrook's greens and fairways provide a stern test of golf for all who play. The layout was designed to incorporate several natural water hazards in the form of a meandering brook which comes into play on many of the holes, and six separate lakes on the back nine. The challenging greens are fast, difficult to read, and generally laced with multiple bunkers that can make approach shots require maximum effort. However, 5 sets of tee-boxes allow the course to cater to novice players and make for a fun golf outing. Book your tee time today or consider a golf or social membership at our facility, just minutes from downtown Phoenix, but seemingly miles from the concrete jungle.
