John's Own Your Swing system uses Biomechanical screening to assess each individuals body function allowing his students to fully understand their most efficient way to swing the club from the first lesson on. His theory is if you aren't measuring, you're guessing. The Own Your Swing screening takes less than 15 minutes, and quantitatively shows each student their ideal grip, trail arm fold, backswing plane, downswing plane, posture, stance width, foot flare, ideal pressure shift and timing of pressure shift, as well as teir dominate and secondary force multipliers. He combines this with the use of Sportsbox AI and GC Quad to measure what connot be seen to create the full picture and understanding for each student. Once the swing blueprint is established, the focus turns to owning "impact skills" (path, club face, low point, strike on the face control) which completes the circle and simplifies controlling/owning the ball flight. Through his system of screening, measurements and drills, it has dramatically decreased the time it takes for students from beginner to professionals to improve, understand and own their swings.
