Helping all students get more enjoyment out of their game is my passion. My background uniquely helps me to relate to all students. I learned early the fundamentals of playing golf. I feel most grateful to have been given guidance from some of the Legends in the game, Eddie Merrins, Paul Runyon, Jack Fleck, Johnny Revolta, Ben Doyle, Gregg Mchatton and Jim Petralia. My Journey as an Amateur and Professional led me to compete at local Amateur events, United States Amateur, NCAA Championships and Professional events including the United States Open. This journey from beginner to competing at an elite level I feel allows me to relate all students. Helping understand the fundamentals of grip, stance, posture, Ball flight laws, course management and short game skills along with gaining more clubhead speed are the core group of my instruction. Helping students gain insight into getting the most out of their practice and on course experiences to maximize performance are often illuminating to those I coach. A blend of old and new is a good way to place my Instruction. Observation with quantitative data. Tools to achieve this are, Launch Monitors (FlightScope and Rapsodo), Video, Blast Motion and FocusBand. In the end it is important for me to impart the objectives of each lesson and the tools to implement those objectives into practice and on course experience.
