Trapp River GC is located just 15 minutes from downtown Wausau. 18 Holes / Par 72 Trapp River GC was the Wausau areas first 18 hole golf course. Originally known as Riverview GC the course was built on beautiful rolling farmland surrounded by stands of mature trees with the Trapp River winding through the course and coming into play on five holes. The course has been undergoing a rebirth since its sale to WGC Operations in 2018. Our goal is to continually improve our facilities with increased aesthetics and course playability through tree removal and the addition of new tees along with significant upgrades to turf grass quality and significant upgrades to our practice facilities makes Trapp River a must visit when playing in the Wausau area.

Practice Range
For 2021 we have added brand new artificial hitting mats to allow us to open our range earlier . We have also added a dedicated short game practice area and a large practice bunker.
