Lee E. Gardenhour, PGA
PGA Head Golf ProfessionalI have been a PGA Member since 1999 and have been at Chambersburg Country Club since 2019. In those years, I have given over 2500 lessons. Our Operation 36 program is one of the best in the world and has over 100 JRs and 40 Ladies currently enrolled. Since the age of 16, when I became a scratch handicap, I have been teaching the game of golf. In those early years, I was helping friends and family. I watched hundreds of lessons given by my mentor, Eldon Joiner. I wasn't watching because I wanted to make golf a career. I watched because I enjoyed it and to take a break from the thousands of hours I spent practicing on my own game. Those early years set the foundation for where I am today. I have given thousands of lessons over the years to many different people. Many JR golfers have gone to college to play golf. Some have even turned professional. Teaching and Coaching has been a lifetime endeavor, and I will continue to do so for the rest of my life.
