Mark A. Langenwalter
Assistant Proassociate
Mark's passion for golf was passed on through his father, as he was introduced to golf as a child. He played in high school, and then played for enjoyment with friends as my kids grew up. Mark is a stroke survivor, and used golf to help recover from the effects of the stroke. He currently lives in La Quinta, California. Mark currently works at the Springs Golf and Country Club in Rancho Mirage. This is his third club as an assistant pro. He has a fun personality, and you will laugh during any coaching session with him.
As an Assistant Professional with the PGA of America, Mark focuses his ongoing studies on teaching and coaching, combining expertise with a passion for player development. A lesson with Mark will bring together learning and having fun with the game.
Mark is committed to the art and science of customizing golf instruction for each player through completion of several key accomplishments:
- PGA Modern Coach - Through training from the PGA of America, PGA Modern Coaches are trained to make golf enjoyable, educational and collaborative in a group setting.
- PING Golf Club Fitter - Known as the most precise fitters in the highly competitive golf club manufacturer industry, PING fitters offer educational, fun and personalized sessions to help golfers “Play their Best.”
- American Development Model (ADM) certified for Golf - ADM is a certification program that directs instructors around the age and stage appropriate development of their players.
