Golf Performance CoachRecently voted one of Golf Digest’s Best Teachers in State (2025–2026), Matt Lutz is a golf performance coach who takes a holistic approach to helping players reach their potential by developing both the technical skills and the human qualities needed to play their best golf.
He works closely with fitness and recovery specialists to better understand each student’s body, identify limitations, and strengthen the areas that directly impact performance. Since beginning his coaching career, Matt has taught for more than five and a half years, conducted over 7,000 lessons since 2020, and continues to help players of all levels enjoy the game and improve with purpose.
Before coaching, Matt played collegiate golf at the University of California, Riverside, where he became the first student-athlete in program history to compete in an NCAA Division I National Championship. Following his college career, he played professionally on the Asian Development Tour, All Thailand Tour, Dakota Tour, and Philippine Tour before fully dedicating himself to coaching.
