Mike has extensive experience as a teacher and coach. He has directed youth camps, adult clinics, and taught numerous individual lessons for players of all ages and abilities. Mike enjoys helping his students reach their goals with a simple approach that includes customized drills and exercises to accelerate improvement.

Mike has garnered some impressive coaching accomplishments during his career. At Millburn High School, he served as the Girls’ Head Golf Coach from 2009-2016 and the Boys’ Head Golf Coach from 2016-2021. He guided the girls’ team to three conference championships (2011, 2013, 2014), which included their first conference championship in school history. He led the boys’ team to an Essex County Championship in 2017, two conference championships in 2017 & 2018, NJSIAA Sectional Championship in 2017, NJSIAA Group 2 Championship Runner-up in 2021, and an 8th Place finish in the NJSIAA State Championship in 2021. Mike was awarded Coach of the Year in 2013 and 2018.
