Michael B. Herzog, PGAPGA Director of Instruction
Michael Herzog was born and raised in Moorhead, MN, and graduated from the University of North Dakota with a degree in Exercise Science and a minor in coaching. Herzog has been working in the golf business teaching the game to thousands of golfers at all ability levels for nearly 25 years.
He became a PGA Member in 2009, working at various top clubs in the country. After a move to Bismarck, North Dakota in 2013, Herzog had the opportunity to work with the Dakota Junior Golf Association as an Executive Director, teaching instructor, and tournament director for junior events. He also served as a collegiate golf coach for Bismarck State College and helped operate and teach at Golf Etc. in Bismarck.
Most recently Herzog was the Head Golf Professional at Hawktree Golf Club and Men’s Golf Coach at the University of Mary before pursuing his true career passion for teaching and promoting the game of golf through the Michael Herzog Golf Academy.
What’s always struck me is his infectious love for the game! He not only teaches players of all levels, but is a living example of how golf connects people from all walks of life."
