PGA CoachScott Adams, PGA
Golf has been a part of Coach Scott's life for as long as he can remember. As the son of a Golf Course Superintendent, he had a golf club in his hands before he could walk. Growing up playing at Webb Hill Country Club in Greenville, Texas, Scott developed a love for the game that eventually became his career.
Scott graduated from McKinney High School, where he was a four-year letterman on the golf team and served as team captain during his senior year. After high school, he chose to pursue a career in golf and earned his Class A PGA certification in 2005.
Throughout his career, Scott has had the opportunity to learn from and work alongside some outstanding instructors and golf professionals. Those experiences helped shape a coaching philosophy that focuses on clear communication, simple concepts, and helping each player find what works best for them. His passion for coaching started as a teenager while helping with junior golf clinics and has grown into a career working with golfers of all ages and skill levels.
After spending more than two decades in the golf operations business, including many years managing golf operations at private clubs, Scott made the decision to focus exclusively on coaching. Over the past ffour years, he has given more than 2,000 lessons and worked with everyone from beginners picking up a club for the first time to competitive players looking to take their games to the next level.
While Scott enjoys helping golfers improve their swings and lower their scores, he believes the relationships built through the game are what makes golf special. Whether working with a junior golfer, a weekend player, or a competitive amateur, his goal is always the same: help each student enjoy the game more and become the best player they can be.
Scott, his wife Angie, and their two daughters Dillon and Austin, moved to Benton in 2021 and quickly fell in love with the area. Golf has always been a family passion, and both daughters have grown up playing the game.
Today, Scott enjoys helping introduce new players to golf while continuing to work with golfers who are serious about reaching their full potential.
