My name is Nic Thacker and I’m a PGA Associate and assistant professional with a background as a collegiate athlete and several years of experience with instruction. My approach is grounded in simplicity and clarity — I use video and launch monitor data to break down the golf swing, but my goal is always to filter that information and give players only what they need to improve without feeling overwhelmed.

I focus on helping players feel what’s correct for their own swing, rather than pushing a one-size-fits-all method. I’ve worked with juniors, beginners, and experienced players alike, and I tailor each lesson to the individual’s goals, learning style, and experience level. At Gold Mountain Golf Club, I also manage merchandising and club fitting, which allows me to guide players from instruction through equipment selection and purchase to ensure they’re set up for success on every level.
