About Paul

Before "early retirement" to become a PGA Professional, as an engineer/lawyer working on "The Chunnel" in England, I won several cups at The Epsom Golf Club where they still award the Kruger Cup to the Junior Club Champion in honor of my working with juniors there.

I have written more than 1,000 articles on the Rules of Golf, and have scored 100 on the USGA exam.

I have won the Horton Smith Award for education from both the Georgia and Sun Country Sections of the PGA.

I routinely utilize SNAG (Start New at Golf) equipment with beginners of all ages.

In addition to being a PGA Certified Instructor, I am a US Kids Golf Certified Coach, a Certified PGA Hope Adaptive Golf Trainer and an Operation 36 Certified Coach..

Teaching philosophy: Never, ever, ever, ever try to hit the ball!!

Teaching rhymes: "One-two, show your shoe." "Swing through it, not to it." "Swing through to your shoulder without falling over." "Rotate through and become a statue."

Testimonial:

Paul is great golf instructor. He teaches to the individual, is creative, and keeps it simple. He will not overload you with instructions, but will focus on a few simple drills to improve your game. I will continue to go back to him.

Katie E.

Testimonial:

In three lessons, Paul improved every aspect of my game to the point my performance was near that of golfers who had been playing all their lives. Paul's instruction is especially suited for serious beginners wanting to advance their game.

Mike M.

Testimonial:

Paul is a brilliant diagnostician, an astute prescriber of improvement actions and thoughts, and a strident encourager of my efforts. Each session Paul focuses on one or two areas of improvement and the results quickly appear.
