About Ryan

Ryan Ford turned professional in 2001 after graduating from Purdue University with a degree in Restaurant Hotel and Institutional Tourism. He was a member of the men’s golf team at Purdue and competed in the 2000 US Amateur at Baltusrol Golf Club. He was the 2005 and 2006 Indiana PGA Club Car Player of the Year, and the 2005 Indiana PGA Assistants Champion. His most prized victory came when he teamed up with his father in the 2008 Indiana PGA Team Championship. Ryan has qualified for the National Club Pro Championship four times (2011, 2019, 2021, & 2022). Ryan and Eric Huther have won the Indiana PGA Pro-Assistant three times (2011, 2014, 2017) and finished runner up in 2013. Ryan was recently selected by his peers as the 2020 Indiana PGA Golf Professional of The Year, which is the highest award a PGA Golf Professional can achieve in their own PGA Section. Ryan was also selected in 2022 as the Professional Development Award winner for the Indiana PGA Section for his service in educating and mentoring professionals. Ryan is currently the Secretary of the Indiana PGA Section.

Both of our Indianapolis golf courses manage the difficult double task of being both fun and challenging. The layouts at these courses combine picturesque natural scenery with challenging design that will have you reaching for every club in your bag as you navigate the strategically-placed bunkers and hazards. Both courses also have multiple tee lengths in order to cater to golfers of all age and skill levels. Play at Pleasant Run ranges from 5,191 to 5,910 yards. This is truly a must-play Indianapolis golf course!
