My name is Rick Mathes and I am an Assistant Golf Professional at the Mill Course. I was formerly a Division 1 high school golf coach for Ross High School for six years. I am an Associate Member of the PGA of America. I am in my third year of the PGA program, studying to achieve my goal of becoming a full member of the PGA. I was a classroom teacher for 10 years before switching to a career in golf. I have been playing golf in the Cincinnati area for 38 years. When I am not working at the golf course, I spend my time practicing for and playing in local Southern Ohio PGA tournaments, , completing my PGA coursework, spending time with my family, and giving golf lessons at meadowlinks Golf and Academy, which is one of the top public practice facilities in the state and has won national awards. Some of my students include current high school golfers and adults looking to improve their game. I work with golfers of all skill levels and ages. My passion is to help grow the game, make golf fun for everyone, and help people to learn the skills necessary to improve their golf game.
