Rob Charland has served as Head Golf Professional at Sewailo Golf Club for seven years. Rob has been a Class A PGA Golf Professional for 25 years. Career highlights include Forty Niner Country Club (Tucson, AZ) and El Rio Golf Club (Mohave Valley, AZ). Rob's education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Professional Golf Management from Ferris State University. Charland has earned all six certifications from The Professional Golfers Association of America Certified Professional Program. The six related career paths include general management, golf operations, instruction, retail, executive management and ownership/leasing. The teaching philosophy Rob employs with each student is to provide simple explanations and techniques to solve golf questions. Also, Rob wants to help the student enjoy the game of golf and understand fundamentals.
