I grew up in western Pennsylvania, in Arnold Palmer country. I started playing golf with my dad, grandfather, uncle and brothers when I was 12 years old. I played on the high school golf team for 3 years prior to moving to California where I graduated and enlisted in the United States Navy. During my service of almost 7 years I decided I wanted to become a golf professional. After my honorable discharge from the Navy, I enrolled in the PGA of America's apprentice program while I was working at Santa Rosa Golf and Country Club. Nine months later, in 1993, I was hired as an assistant golf pro at the prestigious Meadow Club where I began my golf instruction. I have been teaching golf for 28 years. I teach players of all levels, including group sessions with beginners, juniors, seniors, ladies, veterans, and disabled.
