Hi everyone! My name is Sydney Roberts and I am the Associate Head Golf Professional at Abilene Country Club. I have been playing golf for 20 years and played competitively for 14 years. I played collegiate golf at the University of Central Oklahoma, where I was able to travel all over the country and play some of the most amazing golf courses. I graduated college in 2020 with a Bachelors in Management and was elected to PGA membership in July 2021. I am a big supporter of junior golf, but I also believe that it is never too late to learn and there is always room for improvement at any age. My goal is to grow the game from the bottom up. Increase junior play and encourage those to continue playing through high school and into college. There are so many golf scholarships out there that go unused every year, and I want to use my knowledge of the game also with my past experience in junior golf and the recruiting process to help others achieve the same goals that I had years ago.
