As Head Coach of the PGA of America Coaching Center powered by T-Mobile, Tim Cusick oversees the coaching philosophy and high-tech, data-driven experiences at the heart of PGA Frisco. His leadership spans three core pillars of player engagement: industry-leading coaching, precision club fitting, and golf fitness.

A PGA Master Professional in Teaching and Coaching—the highest distinction in the industry—Tim’s career is defined by over 35 years of elite instruction in the Dallas Metroplex. Before becoming Head Coach at the PGA of America Coaching Center in 2023, he served on the PGA Education Faculty, where he shaped the careers of PGA Associates and university students.

Tim has over 35 years of coaching experience, dating back to his arrival in Dallas in 1992 at the Hank Haney Golf Ranch in McKinney, TX where he was Hank’s Director of Instruction. A position that he held until 2005. Along the way he also served as the Assistant Men’s Golf Coach for Southern Methodist University from 1993 – 1997.

In 2005 Tim became the Director of Instruction at the award winning Four Seasons Golf and Resort in Las Colinas, Texas where he oversaw the Byron Nelson and Four Seasons Golf School, a position he held for 15 years until he joined the PGA of America’s Education Faculty.

Recognized by GOLF Magazine as one of America’s Top 100 Instructors since 2019, Tim is a highly decorated member of the Northern Texas PGA. He is a multi-time recipient of the Section’s Teacher of the Year and Professional Development awards, most recently earning the 2025 NTPGA Player Development Award. A published author and former Assistant Men’s Coach for SMU, Tim continues to influence the game through his leadership on the National PGA Teaching/Coaching Committee.
