Timothy M. Grogan, PGA
PGA InstructorA lifelong resident of Wisconsin and a Homestead High School graduate, Tim has enjoyed
success at every level of the game. As a junior golfer, he was both a Wisconsin State Champion
and Junior Masters Champion before continuing his playing career at UNLV, competing in one
of the nation’s top-ranked collegiate golf programs. As a professional, Tim competed in the
Greater Milwaukee Open on the PGA TOUR and, most recently as a senior, in the National PGA
Club Professional Championship. He has been a PGA Class A Professional for 29 years and
was among the first professionals in Wisconsin to earn PGA Certification.
Tim’s impact on the game extends well beyond his playing career. He has been recognized as
the Wisconsin PGA Teacher of the Year and enjoyed a highly successful coaching tenure at
Marquette University, earning Big East Coach of the Year honors twice. Throughout his career,
Tim has instructed Division I Conference Champions, an NCAA #1 ranked player, Korn Ferry
Tour competitors, and numerous junior golfers who have gone on to earn Division I
scholarships.
As an instructor, Tim feels fortunate to have learned under many Hall-of-Fame-level PGA
Professionals, noting,
“I learned something positive from each PGA Professional I’ve worked
with.
” A lifelong student of the game, he has drawn from these mentors and his own 30+ years
of teaching and learning to develop a philosophy that blends time-tested fundamentals with
modern, science-based instruction. Embracing today’s advancements in technology, Tim
integrates TrackMan data to create an optimal learning experience tailored to each golfer. Let
the journey begin!
