Trey Thornock
Director of InstructionTrey Thornock, PGA Professional | Coach & Master Club Fitter
I help golfers play better golf, lower their scores, and enjoy the game more through a combination of personalized coaching, structured practice, and properly fit equipment.
Over the course of more than 5,000 lessons, I've worked with players of all skill levels—from complete beginners learning the fundamentals to competitive golfers looking to perform at a higher level. My coaching focuses on helping golfers understand why the ball is doing what it's doing and providing a clear plan for improvement.
Using TrackMan technology, video analysis, and simple cause-and-effect instruction, I help players improve ball striking, gain distance, sharpen their short game, and develop skills that transfer from the practice tee to the golf course.
As a Master Club Fitter and club repair specialist, I also help golfers ensure their equipment matches their swing. When coaching and equipment work together, players often see faster improvements in consistency, distance, and scoring.
I Specialize In Helping Golfers:
- Break 100, 90, 80, or 70
- Improve ball striking and consistency
- Gain distance and control with the driver
- Lower scores through better short-game performance
- Develop effective practice habits
- Improve course management and decision-making
- Build confidence on the golf course
Whether you're picking up the game for the first time, preparing for tournament golf, or looking to finally break through a scoring barrier, my goal is to provide a clear roadmap for improvement that helps you reach your goals faster and get more enjoyment out of the game.
My Coaching Philosophy
Clear communication. Measurable improvement. Better golf.
Every golfer is unique, which is why I build personalized improvement plans based on your goals, current skill level, and available practice time. My objective is not just to help you hit better shots on the lesson tee, but to help you develop skills that hold up when it matters most—on the golf course.
