About Victoria

Victoria’s path to becoming a PGA Professional is anything but conventional. Her journey into golf is extraordinary—not because she started early, but because she started late and rose with exceptional speed. Unlike most golf professionals who grew up in the junior competitive circuit, Victoria discovered her passion for the game as an adult. Driven by a desire for a new purpose, she turned down two fully funded Ph.D. offers to completely pivot her life and pursue an entirely new, elite path in professional golf.

Born and raised in Beijing, China, Victoria moved to the United States independently to pursue graduate studies at Georgetown University, where she earned her Master’s degree in Public Policy and was awarded the prestigious Dean’s Scholarship. Navigating life and rigorous academics abroad on her own, she developed a fierce sense of independence, adaptability, and mental resilience—traits that would later define her analytical approach to both the game and her coaching philosophy.

In just three years and with zero junior golf background, Victoria progressed from a complete beginner to successfully passing the grueling PGA Playing Ability Test (PAT). Consistently shooting in the 70s, she is currently completing her final requirements toward PGA Class A membership, placing her on track to become one of only two Chinese women in history to achieve this elite milestone.

Victoria began her golf career through the lens of athletic performance. She earned her Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Fitness Level 3 certification—the highest tier of golf fitness expertise—at the TPI Headquarters in Oceanside, California. Furthering her obsession with the physics of the swing, she completed advanced training in 3D biomechanics under the legendary Dr. Young-Hoo Kwon at Texas Woman’s University, alongside specialized certifications in TrackMan and Smart2Move (Ground Reaction Forces).

Her cutting-edge approach seamlessly integrates 3D biomechanics, data-driven launch monitor analysis, and physical screening to help players build swings that are efficient, repeatable, and free from unnecessary compensations—optimizing both on-course performance and long-term physical health. Collaborating regularly with physical therapy and physiotherapy professionals, Victoria possesses a deep understanding of golf-related movement limitations and injury mechanics, allowing her to seamlessly incorporate injury prevention, mobility development, and targeted strength training into her lessons.

Victoria’s coaching philosophy is rooted in absolute clarity, confidence, and long-term player development. Having personally experienced what it means to start from absolute zero, rebuild a swing as an adult, and navigate high-pressure career transitions alone, she brings a rare and deeply empathetic perspective to the lesson tee. She understands not only how to scientifically optimize a physical swing, but also how to rebuild a player's belief in themselves under competitive pressure.

She works with players of all levels—from ambitious beginners to competitive golfers—helping them master both the technical physics and the mental foundation required to unlock their true potential in the game.
