Thorncreek's Junior league is structured to help your junior golfer develop their game and a familiarity with the ins and outs of team competition. This program works best for beginner and intermediate players. Fostering confidence and sound fundamentals of the game are the primary focus.

Scoring Basics: Short Game (Beginner to Intermediate) If you're looking to build a better short game from the ground up, this 60-minute session is a perfect place to start. This clinic is designed for newer golfers or anyone who hasn’t had formal coaching around the green. We’ll cover the fundamentals that make a big difference in your scores — and give you a system you can take to the course with confidence. We’ll cover: How to read lies and pick the right shot Basic setup and technique for solid chips and pitches Intro to bunker play, simple steps to get out clean How to control distance and make cleaner contact Practice routines you can do on your own to keep improving Details: $40 per person 60-minute session Max 6 players Date: May 30th, 2:30PM Location: CommonGround Golf Course This one’s for golfers still building confidence inside 70 yards, whether you're new to the game or trying to break 90 for the first time. Clinic Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance to be eligible for a refund. If you cancel within 72 hours, a refund will only be issued if your spot is filled from the waitlist. No-shows or late cancellations without a replacement will not be refunded.

Let the Players, PLAY! Our goal in this league is to inspire your players to take accountability for their own golf game, make good decisions, problem solve and have a blast with athletes their own age. During the season, players will compete for a spot in the National Playoffs Practices each Wednesday from 5:30-7:00p prepare your players to compete in the games each Saturday afternoon. The 17U division is designed for players ages 13–17 who are looking to develop their skills in a more competitive and performance-focused environment. This program emphasizes advanced skill development, course management, competitive readiness, and team-based play while maintaining a fun and supportive atmosphere. Players will participate in structured practices and competitive in-house Par 3 matches, helping prepare them for high school golf and beyond. Practice Schedule: Mondays | 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM Weekly Match Schedule: Wednesdays beginning at 12:00 PM on the Indian Tree Par 3 Course. Players will be grouped appropriately based on age and skill level during weekly matches.

The 9U division is designed for players ages 4–9, providing a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate introduction to the game of golf. Built on the principles of the American Development Model (ADM), this program emphasizes movement, creativity, and skill development in a low-pressure environment. Players will learn the fundamentals of golf while developing coordination, confidence, and a love for the game. Sessions include structured practices and fun in-house matches on the Par 3 course, creating a supportive and exciting introduction to competitive play. 2026 Springhill PGA Junior League
The program will consist of six competitive matches held on Mondays beginning in June, with no match scheduled over the July 4th holiday. In addition to matches, the program includes eight one-hour practices on Thursday evenings from 5:00–6:00 PM starting in May. These practices will be structured to focus on developing sound swing fundamentals, improving short-game technique, and introducing age-appropriate course management strategies to help players learn how to think their way around the golf course. All participants ages 10 and older will have the opportunity to be evaluated for selection to the League All-Star Team. Players chosen for the All-Star Team will represent our program in a postseason event, competing against other league All-Star teams. This gives players a great goal to work toward while gaining valuable match experience, building confidence on the course, and continuing to grow their skills in a fun, supportive, and team-oriented environment.
