Junior Summer Coaching Program
Welcome to the Summer Junior Coaching Program! Join Sarah Bidney in this six week, 60-minute small group training sessions! Thursdays, 2-3pm, June 4, 11, 18, 25, July 9, 16 - no July 2 Group programs are so beneficial as junior receive more time with coach Sarah, we get to work on skill development and transfer training (building skills that transfer to the course), and juniors have a great time being together in friendly/fun skills challenges. We will work on a proper athletic setup, grip, alignment, power generation, as well as shots around the greens, putting, and more! Groups limited to 8 juniors, with a 4 to 1 student teacher ratio Missed weeks of the program will not be made up, non-transferable to others Register today!
2026 17U Summer PGA Junior League
For ages 14-17, we'll have five practices and five events - two at-home/in-house and three with Echo Valley, Urbandale Golf & CC, and us! July 13 is at Echo, July 20 is at Urbandale, and the Hyperion hosted event is August 3. See schedule for details!
2026 13U Summer PGA Junior League
This add-on to Summer Operation 36 will have 5 practices and 6 events, 3 home and 3 away. Students need to be at 50 yards or farther to enroll in PGA Jr League. Planning on two teams with 2:30-3:30 practice for ages 11-13 year olds and 3:30-4:30pm for ages 7-10 year olds. Fees listed include $600 Operation 36, $250 PGA Jr League Coaching, and the required national $120+fees. Only the national fees will be paid online, $850 will be billed to your member account. The add-on to Summer camp will be invite-only, please contact Sarah prior to registering. Program fee for Summer camp juniors is $720: $350 camp fee, $250 PGA Jr League Coaching, and the required national $120+fees. Program Overview This program is a competitive team-based league designed for advanced players. Teams will compete in matches against other clubs, with the objective of selecting eight top players to represent Jester Park Golf Course in the All-Star competition. Pathway & Goals The ultimate goal of the program is to win the All-Star event and advance to the next competitive level — regional play. This program serves as a steppingstone for players aspiring to compete beyond club-level golf. 8 weekly practices on Wednesdays from 11:30am-12:30pm (June 3, 17, 24) & (July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29) Four matches against local country clubs (June 29th at 5:00pm at Glen Oaks, July 6th at 5:00pm at Wakonda, July 27th at 5:00pm at Wakonda, August 3rd at 5:00pm at Hyperion) PGA Jr. League kit including jerseys, hat, and other merch 1 private lesson with Director of Instruction Kai Nelles at any point throughout the season

Our program is designed for those juniors who want to learn the game through practice sessions on the range along with practice on the course. Once our season starts, we spend one evening on the range and one morning on the course. Our range practice lasts one hour while our time on the course lasts approximately 2 hours.
