2026 Junior Golf School Beginner/Intermediate BASIC 2

Bloomingdale Golf Club will be offering summer Junior Golf School, taught by our PGA golf professional staff, to all interested boys and girls. The program will be structured around basic fundamentals of the golf swing, rules and etiquette of the game, safety, and fun contests. Our objective is to provide juniors a good start to a game that can be played and enjoyed for a lifetime. Beginner/Intermediate BASIC Program Juniors between the ages of 7 and 15 are eligible to participate. Each class must have a minimum of 4 students, no refunds after first class and no makeup classes will be available. All students should have a set of golf clubs. If there is a need for equipment, please inform the golf shop and we will attempt to provide some clubs. Juniors need to wear proper attire and footwear. Golf shoes or tennis shoes are suggested. Please, no flip-flops or sandals. Our Beginner/Intermediate BASIC Program golf school will offer two sessions. Each session will go for 4 weeks, three days each of these weeks. Throughout the 4 weeks of school students will learn the rules of the game, proper golf etiquette, fundamentals of both the short game and full swing. This program does include some course instruction and play time. Group Age Time Fee Beginner/Intermediate BASIC Program 7-15 10am- 11am $230.00 Session 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, June 2nd– June 25th (12 days) Session 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, July 7th– July 30th (12 days) You can Register by visiting our website at www.bloomingdalegc.com or stopping at our golf shop. Each one-hour weekly session builds confidence, improves technique, and keeps kids engaged. Maximum class size is 4 students. Register here to hold your spot and pay class fee at first class. Clubs are provided, so just bring enthusiasm!

2026 Butterfield Country Club PGA Jr. League Program

These teams are designed for golfers aged 9-13. The juniors on these teams are individuals seeking higher level of instruction with some competition. This is a good introduction to competitive golf in a fun, laid back, team atmosphere. Juniors playing in PGA Junior League use this as a potential steppingstone to playing for the Elite Team in the future.

2026 Cog Hill Summer #2 JULY (Ages 4-8)

Cog Hill’s PGA Junior League program is a great way for any 4-8 year old's to not only get introduced to the game but get first-class group instruction and learn how to compete on the course in a low-pressure environment. Play days will be at the CDGA'S Sun Shine Course directly across the street from Cog Hill! Cog Hill’s team has qualified for the National tournament each of the last eight years. Our League is the only one in Illinois coached by 3 Golf Digest Best Teachers!

Village Greens of Woodridge Golf Course PGA Jr. League (July)

The PGA Junior League at Village Greens of Woodridge, offers young golfers a fun and team-oriented way to learn and play the game. With instruction provided by The Golf Practice, a golf academy based in Lisle, IL, this in-house league focuses on skill development, sportsmanship, and on-course experience in a supportive environment led by experienced coaches. Practice Schedule Mondays from 4:30pm – 5:45pm Practices held at Village Greens of Woodridge July 6, July 13, July 20, July 27, August 3 Play Dates will be held weekly on Saturday afternoon.

Northbrook Golf Academy - 13U - Play All 9

Introduce children to team golf in a fun and exciting environment. Our program is unique as participants will play all 9 holes participating in a 2 vs. 2 scramble(best shot) format on the Legacy 9 at Heritage Oaks or Anetsberger Par 3 Golf Course. Players will be paired with and play against other players from our academy based on their skill level and age. To participate in the league children must have their own set of clubs, be able to advance the ball 75-100 yards semi-consistently and have prior playing experience. (Not able to make a full program due to other summer conflicts, contact us directly for a modified season) Two step registration process: Pay your annual PGA Jr. League membership dues at pgajrleague.com and receive your jersey Register through the Northbrook Park District to cover greens fees, range fees and coaching fees. Palatine Hills PGA Jr League

Join us at Palatine Hills for a fun summer of team golf competition. We will have practices on Wednesday afternoon focusing on technique and overall strategy. Matches format is a two person scramble, which is a great way to introduce your child to golf competition. In order to register, you will first need to go to palatineparks.org and register with the Palatine Park District. After our tryout night on Wednesday, May 6, those who make the team will receive a code to register with the PGA Jr League website.

The Grove Grizzlies

The Grizzlies return for their fourth season in the Lake Cook League. We are looking forward to another great season of fun and competition with our neighboring clubs. The program continues to grow and improve and we are excited for our best season yet in 2026!
