Join us at Palatine Hills for a fun summer of team golf competition. We will have practices on Wednesday afternoon focusing on technique and overall strategy. Matches format is a two person scramble, which is a great way to introduce your child to golf competition. In order to register, you will first need to go to palatineparks.org and register with the Palatine Park District. After our tryout night on Wednesday, May 6, those who make the team will receive a code to register with the PGA Jr League website.

Cog Hill’s PGA Junior League program is a great way for any player 13 and under to not only get introduced to the game but get first-class group instruction and learn how to compete on the course in a low-pressure environment. Cog Hill’s team has qualified for the National tournament each of the last eight years. Our League is the only one in Illinois coached by 3 Golf Digest Best Teachers!
Northbrook Golf Academy - 13U - Play All 9
Introduce children to team golf in a fun and exciting environment. Our program is unique as participants will play all 9 holes participating in a 2 vs. 2 scramble(best shot) format on the Legacy 9 at Heritage Oaks or Anetsberger Par 3 Golf Course. Players will be paired with and play against other players from our academy based on their skill level and age. To participate in the league children must have their own set of clubs, be able to advance the ball 75-100 yards semi-consistently and have prior playing experience. (Not able to make a full program due to other summer conflicts, contact us directly for a modified season) Two step registration process: Pay your annual PGA Jr. League membership dues at pgajrleague.com and receive your jersey Register through the Northbrook Park District to cover greens fees, range fees and coaching fees. PGA HOPE is the flagship military program of the PGA of America. PGA HOPE is designed to introduce golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to support their social, emotional, and physical well being. Join PGA HOPE alongside your fellow Veterans and Service members. PGA HOPE has served thousands of Veterans and Service members across the United States through one of our 300+ locations. This introductory program is designed to welcome those of all ages, branches and eras of service, genders, and abilities to the golf course and share in camaraderie and fun together as a group. During this session you will learn the basics from grip to 9 holes of golf from Mike Samson, PGA and other Professionals. No golf equipment is required. If you do have clubs and/or any specialty equipment, please bring them with you. Grand Geneva PGA Junior League 13 and Under (Kids Ages 7-13)
The PGA Junior League is a fun, social, and inclusive team golf program for boys and girls 13 & under, run by PGA Professionals, where kids wear numbered jerseys and play on teams using a low-pressure, two-person scramble format to foster sportsmanship, confidence, and a love for the game, making golf accessible to all skill levels. It's PGA REACH's flagship youth program, focusing on community, safety, and fun over intense competition, with year-round play options and a pathway to competitive All-Star teams. Our Grand Geneva Kids will play at many of the top courses in the area over the course of the season as Strawberry Creek, Kenosha Country Club, Hawksview, Tuckaway Country Club and Meadowbrook Country Club will also be fielding teams in our division. All practices will be on Wednesday afternoons from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM (running end of May until end of July). Matches will be on Sunday afternoons in June and July starting each time around 4:30 PM. The PGA Jr. League 13U at Ridge Country Club offers a fun, engaging, and competitive environment for young golfers to develop their skills and love for the game. Led by PGA Professionals Richard Dukelow and Jonathan Lipsey, the program is designed to challenge players while keeping the experience enjoyable and team-oriented. To be eligible for the league, participants should have completed at least two years in the Junior Golf Program or one year in the Ridge 36 Program. New members are also welcome—coaches are happy to evaluate each child to determine if they are ready for league play. This league provides a great opportunity for students to test their abilities across all aspects of the game, from driving to putting. In addition to skill development, players will learn important fundamentals and proper golf etiquette, helping them grow both on and off the course.
