2026 Quail Chase Junior Club Championship

Join us for the 2026 Quail Chase Junior Club Championship on Sunday, July 19, 2026! This is a stroke play tournament where junior golfers compete for the title of "Quail Chase Junior Club Champion." 9 Hole Divisions: 9 and under 10-11 12-13 18 Hole Divisions: Girls 14-17 Boys 14-17 College Girls College Boys Junior golfers are alloted one caddy during play - caddy and player must walk. Price is $25 per player and includes your green fee and food! Tee times will start at 2:00 PM with the 18 hole divisions going off first, followed by the 9 hole divisions. 18 hole divisions will play the South and West Courses, 9 hole divisions will play the South Course. Please message us and give us your junior's age so we can put them in the correct division!

PGAJL is an ideal introduction for beginners starting their golf journey, while still offering plenty of challenge and development for more advanced players. Our program features fun, group-based practices that focus on all aspects of the game—from the tee box to the green and everything in between! Juniors will build skills, confidence, and a love for the game in a supportive team environment. Matches are played in a scramble format (2 vs. 2 or 3 vs. 3), allowing every player to contribute to their team’s success while competing against other junior programs in the area. We can’t wait for an exciting season filled with learning, teamwork, and plenty of great golf memories! The PGA Jr. League 17U program is a fun, team-based golf experience designed for boys and girls ages 14-17 who want to develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game in a supportive and competitive environment.

2026 Sunrise Golf Course PGA Jr. League Program

Our goal this season is to introduce kids to the competitive side of golf and help them prepare for the high school level, all while keeping the experience completely fun and stress-free. To focus entirely on player development, our 8-week season (June 15th – August 12th) will meet just 1 day a week on Wednesdays, combining structured coaching from our Head and Assistant Golf Professionals with exciting, in-house scramble matches right here at Sunrise. Every junior golfer will receive top-tier instruction on fundamentals and course management, as well as an official player kit featuring a custom team jersey and bag tag. PGA Jr. League utilizes a two-person scramble match play format; it’s awesome because it takes all the pressure off the kids—if they don’t hit a shot exactly how they wanted to, it’s no big deal since their partner is right there to back them up with plenty of playing time for everyone, including groups with a substitute. The total cost is $120 for the PGA Jr. League kit plus a $50 Sunrise facility fee, and we are currently gathering sign-ups to officially launch the league—space is limited, so please contact Assistant Golf Professional Jayce Sharp at Jaycesharp1@gmail.com to secure your child's spot today!

9-Hole On-Course Group Playing Lesson: Strategy, Fundamentals & Game Improvement Join a small group for a dynamic 9-hole on-course playing lesson designed to sharpen your skills and help you lower scores through smarter play. This group session requires a minimum of two participants and maximum of four participants offering a fun, social, and collaborative learning environment while still delivering personalized instruction. As we play, each golfer will receive targeted feedback on their game. You’ll learn not only from your own shots but also by observing others — a powerful way to reinforce strategy and decision-making concepts in real-time. Key Areas Covered: Course Management Strategies: Learn how to approach each hole with a smarter game plan to avoid big mistakes and capitalize on scoring opportunities. Shot Execution & Club Selection: Get guidance on when to play aggressively or conservatively, based on lie, wind, and pin location. Swing & Setup Fundamentals: Receive on-the-spot coaching to fine-tune key aspects of your setup and swing. Short Game & Putting Insights: Explore how to save strokes around the green and improve your putting process. Varying Lies & On-Course Obstacles: Practice adapting to rough, uneven lies, bunkers, and real-course conditions that aren’t replicated on the range. Mental Game & Confidence Building: Discover how to make better decisions under pressure and maintain composure throughout the round. Please note: Scheduling is contingent on golf course availability at the time of the request.
