2026 Ridgemont CC Summer PGA Junior League 17U
RCC 17U PGA Junior Summer League offers a competitive training league where juniors ages 13 to 17 can grow their golf games together in our in-House league. The (17U Division) will have more experienced junior golfers aged 17 and under classified by ability to formulate appropriate teams. The hope is to build team comradery where our Ridgemont juniors build new friendships and are helping each other advance their golf games to ultimately compete against other clubs’ junior teams. Most of our Sunday scheduled events will take place at Ridgemont Country Club competing against fellow RCC participants. We may try and schedule a voluntary scrimmage or two that may be at a different golf club in the Rochester area. With enough participation we may be able to send an 8-person team from this group to a local qualifier in August for the Junior league national competition. More experienced players are welcome with the preference of juniors having at least some experience with competitive golf in high school matches, Ridgemont Junior championship, or other local junior tournaments including RDGA/WNYPGA junior events. Teams are based on the total number of participants, but we hope to have 4 to 8 players per team. The formats will vary during the league year, but each format will have a two-person team match play as the main ingredient. Schedule: Practice dates Sundays 3:00PM June 14, & 21, 2026 (2 weeks) Team selection and start date for league June 21st. The league runs for 8 weeks Sundays 3:00PM June 28 - Aug 16, 2026. Children and Grandchildren of Ridgemont members will have priority for signing up. Non-member guests will be put on waiting list and notified as soon as possible, but not later than two weeks prior to the start of the first practice session. At least one parent or Guardian forecaddie is requested to be present for each match. There is a $120 PGA Jr. Membership Fee that must be paid online at the time of registration covering team shirts etc.. The remaining $170 Coaching Fee will be paid directly to the Coach Greg Mulhern PGA Professional. Contact Greg with any questions you may have text 585-353-6415 or email: gmulhern@pga.com
