PGA HOPE Boynton Beach - Session 4
PGA HOPE is the flagship military program of the PGA of America. PGA HOPE is designed to introduce golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to support their social, emotional, and physical well being. Join PGA HOPE alongside your fellow Veterans and Servicemembers. PGA HOPE has served thousands of Veterans and Servicemembers across the United States through one of our 300+ locations. This introductory program is designed to welcome those of all ages, branches and eras of service, genders, and abilities to the golf course and share in camaraderie and fun together as a group. During this session you will learn the basics from grip to 9 holes of golf from PGA and LPGA Professionals. No golf equipment is required. If you do have clubs and/or any specialty equipment, please bring them with you. Intro to Golf Session
Welcome to step 1 in your golf journey! This 90-minute intro session provides background on the game of golf while introducing basic fundamentals of the golf swing. Students will learn from the green to the tee box focusing on proper mechanics and building a reliable short game (chipping, pitching, putting). The short game is a foundational aspect that helps long-term development of the full-swing and provides confidence to score relative to par. Lesson area: Chipping Green & Putting Green Duration: 90 minutes (Greetings & Introduction to golf, Chipping fundamentals, Putting fundamentals) \*Golf clubs available upon request
Individual Lesson
This booking offers a 1-hour Individual lesson to address concerns, assess your swing, and physical limitations. From there, a plan to develop and improve the skills will be prescribed to the student. The teacher will prescribe a short-term, 3-week improvement plan to strengthen areas of improvement and transfer skills onto the golf course.
